David joined Manning Leaver in 2024, after previously working in entertainment transactional law. David attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he received his Bachelor of Art's degree in Sociology, and following a lengthy period in the television industry, he later received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School.
During law school, David worked as a student lawyer for the Southwestern Entertainment & the Arts Legal Clinic, where he provided pro bono legal services to independent filmmakers and documentarians. David also acted as a board member of the Negotiations Honors Program where he competed and eventually won the National Basketball Association Negotiation Competition held annually at Fordham Law School in New York.
When not working, David enjoys playing soccer, watching the Dodgers and Lakers, writing comedy, eating pizza, and hanging out with friends and family.
